Remember you must pick up your trees - shrubs on May 5 or make alternative arrangements. Please call Peggy, 651-689-3558 as soon as possible to talk over options. It is important that we have a phone number that you answer on the weekend in case there is some question about your order and we need to reach you.

If you do not pickup you trees and shrubs on the pickup date the trees will be donated to the parks and you will receive a letter you can use for tax purposes for your donation.

We will have your order slip at the pickup site to make sure you will get all your items.

Handling Bare Root Trees - Shrubs

Bare root means that the root system will be bare it is not in a pot or any other container. There will be no dirt around the root system. We will put the root system in a plastic bag, and you should plan on planting your tree or shrub as soon as possible. If you are unable to plant the tree on pickup day, you should lay it down in a garage or shady place outdoors. Put old newspapers, leaves or soil on the root system and wet it down with a hose. Cover with plastic to keep the roots from drying out. Plan on planting as soon as possible. We will have planting instructions and master gardeners available for questions at the pickup sites.

Transporting Your Trees - Shrubs

Many of the trees are bigger than the tree description states. For example, the maple tree is listed as 6 foot, but it may be 7 or 8 feet.

You should bring a piece of plastic with you to wrap your tree in order to keep your car clean. Bring a tarp and twine for trees and shrubs sticking out the window of your vehicle to keep from getting wind damage.
